Document Description
This project involves the establishment of a Remote Area Weather Station (RAWS) in the Altamont Hills of Alameda County in the unincorporated area of Tracy. The project site is located on rolling grassland and is in an elevated bowl on a south aspect approximately 65 feet below the ridge top. The project site is located on a wind generation farm and is used as cattle rangeland. There are no seasonal or year-round creeks or ponds within a half maile of the site.
