Document Description
The RP-1 Dewatering Facility Expansion Project will replace the belt press system that currently supports the RP-1 dewatering system demands. A decision has been made to install centrifuges to satisfy the operational dewatering needs of the WWRF. To meet demand and provide adequate system redundancy, four centrifuges will be installed (this provides three duty units with one backing unit). For added reliability dewatered cake will be conveyed via a parallel screw conveyor system.
