Document Description
CDFG is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2011-0147-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency. As part of the landside Improvements Project, SAFCA has constructed a segment of a new adjacent levee to improve flood protection along the Sacramento River adjacent to the existing Sacrament River east levee along the landside of the Garden Highway. Multiple phases, SAFCA has constructed surface drain outfalls to the Sacramento River from the confluence of the Sacrament River and Natomas Cross Canal to ~2,500 linear feet south of the North Drainage Canal along the Garden Highway. SAFCA seeks to construct these outfalls prior to November 1, 2011.
