Document Description
To authorize an existing paved/gravel ramp on the landside of the east bank of the Sacramento River, at Levee Mile 10.03, at station 530+00 (Stations Reference to NLIP). The ramps are comprised of miscellaneous fill and its surface is comprised of asphalt at the top of the ramp nearest to the levee and aggregate base on the lower portion of the ramp. This work is associated with NLIP under Master Permit 18159-7, authorized on March 30, 2011.

The project is exempt from CEQA under the Class 1, Existing Facilities categorical exemption (CEQA California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 15301), because the activity consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use. No expansion of existing or former use will occur. Further, none of the exceptions to the exemption in CEQA California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Section 15300.2 apply. The Central Valley Flood Protection Board's (Board’s) administrative record related to the encroachment permit is available for public review at the Board's office.
