Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 5563-1, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control. To relocate the Riverside Pumping Plant of Natomas Mutual Water Company. The proposed work under this permit includes a new 24-square-foot pump platform and walkway that sits on ten (10) 24-inch diameter steel piles. The platform will support a mixed flow irrigation pump and an approximately 69.5-inch diameter pump can, a cylindrical fish screen and sluice gate, a 30-inch diameter welded steel pipe, a 2-inch diameter vacuum pipe, a 2-inch diameter utility water line, electrical panels, and appurtenances. Additional improvements include construction of 16 feet wide access driveway with double swing gates and an 18-inch diameter corrugated metal culvert; construction of a gravel surfaced parking lot and guard posts; installation of log boom and riprap along the bank for debris and erosion protection, respectively. Finally, the existing Riverside Pumping Plant facilities will be demolished except the pump house and concrete walkway.
