Approval of Permit No. 19637, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To authorize fifty-four (54) new utility poles and nine (9) replace-in-place poles within the flood control easement along the Sacramento River East Levee. Out of the fifty-four (54) new poles, nine (9) poles will be permanently placed on the Garden Highway levee slope. The remaining forty-five (45) new poles will be temporarily placed along the slope of the Garden Highway levee. After the US Army Corps of Engineer’s construction of the Natomas Basin Reach A adjacent levee is complete, the forty-five (45) new poles will be relocated permanently to the landside of the new adjacent levee. The nine (9) replace-in-place poles will remain on the Garden Highway levee alignment, on the east and west side of Garden Highway. This utility relocation project is required for the Natomas Basin Civil Works Project.
