- Document Description
- The project is limited to the installation and removal of two temporary summer crossings on the South Fork Eel River. The crossing in Humboldt County is for accessing a portion of Richardson Grove State Park and the crossing in Mendocino County is for accessing a portion of Standish Hickey State Recreation Area. Listed and sensitive fish species will need to be potentially relocated from the sites. The crossings will require Bailey bridges for the main flow channels while other crossing types for the smaller flowing channels. Work areas for smaller side channels will need to be isolated and dewatered before corssing installation or removal begins. Crossings will need to pass all life stages of all aquatic life and be removed before the first large storms capable of washing out the crossings. Water diversion will be diverted for crossing installation or removal. Water diversion for use at campgrounds or at recreational areas are not covered by this Agreement.
