Document Description
Up to 1,375 residential dwelling units, 75,000 square feet of commercial uses, and 75 visitor serving resort units. Existing oil wells within proposed development and open space areas would be abandoned and the area would be remediated. Two consolidated oil fields would be retained (20 acres of the open space). The proposed Project designates approximately 243 of the project site's 401 acres for Open Space uses. The Open Space District comprises three categories: (1) Lowland Open space/Public Trails and Facilities (LLOS/PTF); (2) Upland Open Space/Public Trails and Facilities (UOS/PTF); and (3) Consolidated Oil Facilities (OF). Approximately 131 acres would be in open space including wetland restoration areas, water detention, trails and viewpoints, and habitat conservation areas. The project includes 45 acres for parks.
