Document Description
Alter the streambed of the Santa Margarita River to accomodate the Santa Margarita River Invasive Plant Removal and Habitat Restoration Project. The focus of the program is removal of giant reed (Arundo donax), but includes other invasive plants such as tamarisk, (Tamarisk sp.), pampas grass (Cortaderia sp.), invasive palms, pepperweed), Lepidium latifolium), and castor bean. After removing invasive plants, the program also includes replanting the treated areas with appropriate native vegetation. SAA# 1600-2008-0232-R5
