Document Description
The Project would repair, maintain and make minor interior alterations to the existing 22,963 square-foot shop building at San Leandro High School. The Project also renovates the wood, metal and auto shops, and is not proposed in response to an increase in student enrollment; enrollment at the high school is forecast to remain at levels similar to the 2007/08 enrollment over the next eight years. The renovation project is proposed to better serve the current program requirements at San Leandro High School by extending the life of the building with a new roof, seismic upgrades, life safety and ADA upgrades, new electrical distribution, repair of the existing windows, installing new interior partition walls and new interior and exterior paint.
