Document Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is proposing to remove insect-infested trees which occur within the 5-acre state-owned property containing the Usona Forest Fire Station Facility. Dead trees will be removed as they die, and this tree-removal will occur as needed, over a five year period from March 2009 through December 31, 2014. An additional environmental assessment will be made at that time, with the appropriate CEQA response, if tree-removal activities must continue after that date.
