Document Description
The City Council adopted a new Street Naming Ordinance, adopted as Chapter 12.18, Naming and Designation of Streets, of the City's Municpal Code. The ordinance establishes the rules for how streets are named and designated and establishes a process for changing the name of an existing street. The ordinance establishes the Council as the approving authority for the names of streets, either as part of the recordation of a Final Map or Parcel Map, or as part of a request to rename a street.
