Document Description
The project proposes to reduce disinfection byproducts in the wastewater effluent by implementation of the following:
1. Modifying the existing potable water disinfection facilities to allow increased control of chlorine addition together with the addition of ammonia, to create chloromines; and
2. Disinfection of treated wastewater effluent with ultra-violent light (UV)) rather than chlorine.
