Document Description
The Project will retrofit the existing Trinity River Bridge on SR 3 by replacing 3 bridge piers with new outrigger bents. The footings of the existing bridge piers have been undermined by scour and subsequent channel degredation. The new bents will be supported by two 6 ft diameter cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles extending ~100 ft below the river bed.
