Document Description
The project is an update of the City of Chowchilla's General Plan. The General Plan update proposes to expand the City's present General Plan Planning Area and Sphere of Influence boundaries as well as update the City's infrastructure master plans to accommodate growth anticipated within the 30 year time frame of the General Plan. The proposed General Plan update is represented by the land use and circulation designations identified in the Draft 2040 General Plan Land Use Diagram. The project also includes a specific plan (Greenhills Lakes Specific Plan) for a 590 acre master planned development comprised of residential, commercial and public land uses northeast of the Highway 99/East Robertson Blvd. interchange.
