Document Description
The project is one of the several sewer collection system improvement projects being implemented by the City of Vista, the City of Carlsbad, and the Buena Sanitation District. The project involves improving and rehabilitating the Vista/Carlsbad Interceptor pipeline. The project will involve installing a new 3,635 linear feet sewer force main (Force Main B) parallel to the existing Force Main A. Approximately 3,635 linear feet of Force Main A will be rehabilitated, including lining (cured-in-placed) 2,400 linear feet of pipeline, replacing 915 linear feet of pipeline with high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline, and replacing 320 linear feet with new ductile iron pipeline that is epoxy lined and coated for corrosion resistance.
