Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. Glenn Priddy. The proposed project would consist of extending a damaged earthen levee approximately 600' to the north and curving west toward Cholame Valley Road. Rock slope protection would be installed along the eastern side of the levee to reduce the potential for breaching during high flow events. Two 48" diameter high density polyethylene pipe culverts would be installed at the northern terminus of the berm extension to allow any backflow from the berm to cross under Cholame Valley Road. Accumulated sediment would be excavated from existing roadside ditches along the road and used to create the berm extension. Upon completion of work, the site would be revegetated and stabilized for erosion and sediment control.
