Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is issuing an Agreement regarding the Stream Alteration to the project applicant, County of San Diego, Department of Public Work. The Project is limited to widening of Bear Valley Parkway from SR-78 to Boyle Avenue to four travel lanes in an approximately 110-foot-wide right-of-way, bicycle lanes, shoulders, parkways, turn lanes, and a center median. Portions of the center median and parkways will be landscaped. Drainage work will include new curb and gutter; curb inlets, extension or replacement of four existing reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) or reinforced concrete box (RCB) culvert systems, placement of headwalls and wingwalls, and addition of rip rap energy dissipaters at culvert outlets. The new curb inlets would be installed along the length of the widened roadway to capture surface flows along the road and from offside areas draining onto Bear Valley Parkway. The general existing pattern of drainage flow shall be maintained.
