- A request to establish a utility-grade 250 MW solar (photovoltaic) power plant on 25 properties totaling approx. 4,685 acres. The project includes: ten solar photovoltaic arrays, electrical equipment, internal overhead and underground connecting electrical lines, access roads, substation, overlook trail, operations/maintenance bldg. (5,000 sq. ft.), water processing facility, water tank, and a 3.6-mile connecting transmission line from the substation to an existing transmission line to the north. The project will also reclaim two idle gypsum mines.
