NOTE: Extended review per lead Request by High Plains Ranch ll, LLC (SunPower) to establish 1) California Valley Solar Ranch, a 250 megawatt photovoltaic solar power plant to be installed within an approximate 4,365 acres (6.8sm) area, and 2) an aggregate surface mine over a 23-acre area. The proposed action will include the installation of approximately 2.8 miles of connecting 230kV transmission line to an existing transmission lines and will result in the reclamation of an on-site gypsum mine. If approved, reconductoring of a portion of existing 230 kV line (35 miles) will be needed (extending into Kern County).
