The subject property has been identified as excess property by the General Services Administration (GSA) and is located within the exterior boundaries of the Yurok Reservation. 40 U.S.C. section 523(a) requires the GSA to…transfer to the Secretary of the Interior, without compensation, excess real property located within the reservation of any group, band or tribe of Indians that is recognized as eligible for services by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). The property consists of 1.922 acres of land improved with several concrete foundations and the right of ingress and egress to the property over existing road easements and improved right of way. There are no known exceptions to title.
