Document Description
The Applicant intends to alter the streambed by replacing a summer crossing with undersized culverts with a 689 ft long, 36 ft wide cast in place prestressed concrete box girder. The bridge will be made up of two 12 ft wide lanes and 5 ft shoulders. Abutments will be located in fill and supported on 30 inch diameter cast in place drilled concrete piles. About a total of 8,000 cubic yards of imported fill will be used at both abutments to increase the existing channel slope from a 3:1 at the south side, and from a 2:1 on the north side, to a 5:1 slope. Work shall be done during the dry season and will have 2 ft of clearance in a 100 year storm.
