Document Description
The objective of this project is to prevent inflow and outflow from the pond, thus minimizing or eliminating the possibility of violations of effluent limitations and/or inflow of tidal water containing aquatic species. These factors create an urgent need to complete this maintenance work before the heavy rains occur during the 2008-2009 rainy season. This project is an interim measure designed to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, while PGA& works with regulatory agencies and other interested stakeholders to develop engineering design plans and to obtain associated permits for a permanent remedy for the Shell Pond.
