Document Description
Remove selected stands of Monterey cypress (Calitropsis macrocarpa), Tasmanian bluegum (Eucalyptus globulus), and Monterey pine (Pinus radiata) from Caspar Headlands SNR. Trees will be removed by properly trained State Park Natural Resource Staff or volunteers, CalFire, CCC or other training crews, and licensed tree services. No herbicides will be applied and no debris shall be burned on-site as a part of this project. The purpose of the tree removal is to maintain native vegetation and plant communities. To avoid impacts to cultural sites, trees shall be felled away from and not skidded across historic land features.
