Document Description
Caltrans proposes permanent electrical/utility hookup at Hatchet Mountain. The project is located in Shasta County about 6.6 miles west of Burney, at Terry Mill Road. This electrical work follows up previous 02-1C610, initial power hookup and installation of CCTV and RWIS system at the same location. Power at the existing site is presently supplied by diesel generator. This project will provide line power to the site for operation for the CCTV/RWIS function. The project will eliminate problems with maintaining fuel and generation equipment, especially during the winter months when the traveling public most benefits from operation of the CCTV/RWIS function.
