Document Description
Repair the existing staircase between the Morro Bay State Park and the Museum of Natural History parking areas to maintain the structure. Work will replace up to 10 railing posts with new 5.5-inch diameter, 8-foot long posts in the existing post holes that could be up to 4-feet deep and back filled iwth native soil; replace approximately 25 wooden treads, wherever possible, existing treads will be re-used; and replace handrails, low voltage lights and wires as needed.
