Document Description
Replacement of a damaged culvert on State Route 70 in Plumas County at Little Blackhawk Creek (post mile 38.5). The existing culvert is a 54-inch diameter corrugated steel pipe (CSP). The bottom of the CSP has deteriorated due to abrasion caused by bed load. The abrasive action has resulted in the development of holes in the wall of the culvert throughout its length, exposing the backfill material beneath the culvert.
