Document Description
The District is proposing to revise the definition of VOC in Rule 1020 (Definitions). The revision would include an exemption of both methyl formate (MF) and tertiary-butyl acetate (TBAC); however TBAC would be exempt for VOC emissions limitations or VOC content requirements only. This contingency is based on language from the EPA"s Final Action on TBAC as stated in Federal Register (FR) document 40 CFR Part 51.100 (s)(5).
