Construct Miwok Bark House #2

Construct a replica of a Miwok Bark Hoouse at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park for interpretive purposes. Work will include excavating a trench up to 6 inches deep around the ~10.5 ft wide diameter base of the Bark House to anchor the structure. The conical structure consists of a framework of ~12 ft long pine poles covered with slabs of cedar bark. The poles and cedar bark slabs used to construct the framework of the Bark House will be buried at the base and the poles and bark slabs will be wired together at the top.
Project consist of the construction od a small interpretive exhibit and is included as "construction or installation of park facilitie" and minor alteration in the condition of land and vegetation which does not include the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees except for forestry purposes in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR Section 15300.4
