NOTE: Withdrawn per lead until further notice, BIA is canceling work on EA. 9/23/09.
The proposed project would include three federal actions by BIA, DOR, and WAPA for granting of easements, utility crosing, and power distribution contracts to the Quechan Indian Tribe. The Tribe is proposing to construct, operate and maintain a 1.6 mile-long power distribution line (with overhead and buried segments) between the Yuma Desalter Plant substation in Yuma County, AZ and the Quechan Casino Resort in Imperial County, CA.
