Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-HUM-53994-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant is the California Department of Transportation. In accordance with the Notification and supporting documents, the project proposes to minimally realign and widen the roadway so Surface Transportation Assistance Act (STAA) vehicles may negotiate curves through Richardson Grove State Park. No old growth redwood trees will be removed. The planned roadway will consist of two 12- foot lanes with 2-foot shoulders where possible in Richardson Grove State Park. In order to widen the highway, four existing 18-inch culverts will be extended and have new inlet structures.
