Document Description
There are currently 16 individuals or parties who own one or more of the 20 existing parcels that comprise the project area. The specific objectives for the project may vary between individual property owners. Owners of the lots could, if the project is approved: - Apply for architectural permits through the City's design review process, followed by applying for building permits to construct a residence, immediately upon obtaining approvals of the proposed project; - Delay construction; - Construct a residence for purposes of sale; - Build a home as a personal residence; or - Sell the lot with rights to develop as granted with the project approval and/or with plans for a proposed house design. The basic and overall objective of the Laurel Way Project (the proposed project) is to provide the various property owners with a legal mechanism to allow residential development that would be compatible with the surrounding neighborhood.
