Document Description
As part of the project, the applicants are requesting: a) the City initiate a General Plan Amendment to revise the ULL so as to include 9 acres of the property west of the 100yr floodplain. b) the City split-zone the parcel, so that the 9 acres within the ULL is zoned Public/Quasi-Public, with the eastern 11.66 acres remaining A-20.
The General Plan land use designation will remain Agriculture for the entire parcel. Agricultural use of the undeveloped portion of the property will continue; students will have the opportunity to contribute their efforts to the farming enterprise. In addition, of the 9 acre project area, 3.6 acres will remain open space, to be used for play fields or outdoor work and agricultural uses.
