Document Description
Stanislaus County Dept of Public Works Proposes to widen a 1.92 mile long segment of Albers Road from ~200 ft north of Milnes Road to 200 ft south of Claribel Road. The widened road section will consist of a 50 ft wide paved surface with two through traffic lanes and a continuous center lane. Two feet aggregate base shoulders will be constructed on either side of the road. The center lane will include left turn channelization at Rice Road and Kemper Road. Rice Rd and Kemper Rd will be widened near their intersection with Albers Rd to accommodate truck turning. Work associated with the project includeds construction of the new roadbed and shoulders, roadside drainage imnprovements, signing, striping, and erosion control. The project will be constructed in stages and will not require a detour.
