Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2009-0148-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Yuba County Department of Public Works. The existing bridge on LaPorte Road over New York Creek will be replaced will a new bridge. The proposed single-spam concrete replacement bridge would be constructed downstream of the existing bridge so the existing could remain in service during new bridge construction. The shift in bridge alignment and new roadway approach would bring the bridge and roadway up to modern road standards and would improve driver safety. The proposed single-span concrete replacement bridge would be 50 ft long and 33 ft wide. This project include the removal of the existing bridge structure.
