Document Description
The project consists of an environmental assessment that would allow the Yuba County Public Works Dept. the ability to replace the existing bridge on La Porte Road over New York Creek. The proposed cingle-spam concrete replacement bridge would be constructed downstream of the existing bridge so the existing could remain in service during new bridge construction. The shift in bridge alignment and new roadway approach would bring the bridge and roadway up to modern road standards and would improve driver safety. The proposed single-span concrete replacement bridge would be 50 ft long and 33 ft wide.
