Project will reintroduce fisher to a portion of the historic range in the northern Sierra Nevada. Fisher will be captured form dispersed areas of NW California. Up to 40 animals are anticipated to be captured over a 3 year period, fitted with radio-collars, and released in forestlands. Released animals will be monitored to assess the success of the project.
