Document Description
The Easton Point Residential project was approved for 43 minimum half-acre residential lots for single-family home development. In addition, two parcels (Parcel A - 68.49 acres and Parcel B - 5.86 acres) will be retained as open space parcels. Parcel B is proposed as a Marin dwarf flax (a special status plant species) preserve. The project also includes a Parcel C (0.46 acre) for the construction of a new 265,000 gallon water storage tank, a Parcel D (0.77 acre) to accommodate the relocation and reduction in size to 590,000 gallons of an existing one-million-gallon water tank at the end of Forest Glen Court to a higher elevation on the Martha Company property, and a small parcel adjacent to Parcel C for a possible future Marin Emergency Radio Authority communications site. The Master Plan approval allows the construction of roads and utilities to serve each of the 43 residential lots. The application also includes a proposal to construct a temporary construction access road off Paradise Drive that will be used for all phases of project construction, including future home construction. The approval also requires the repair of some landslides on-site to accommodate proposed development.
