Document Description
The Housing Element is a state-mandated component of the City of Parlier’s General Plan. It provides an analysis of housing and demographic data, identifies barriers to affordable housing, and outlines projections for new housing construction during the 2023-2031 planning period. Adoption of the Housing Element amends the City’s General Plan. The Housing Element itself does not authorize or propose any physical development and instead serves as a high level planning document. It will designate Assessor’s Parcel Number 355-031-27 as High Density Residential on the official General Plan Land Use map. The City Council has approved an addendum to the General Plan EIR.
