The Project would expand the Parlier Sphere of Influence by ~3,220 acres. Approximately 640 acres containing the USDA Agricultural Center and UC Kearney Research Center would be removed from the SOI. A general plan amendment for the SOI expansion area would provide for 10,000 near residential units and associated commercial development.
