Aviator Card Room - Conditional Use Permit No. 07-10

The project proposes to allow the expansion of an existing card room operation (formerly known as Aldo's Nightclub) from 2 tables to 25 tables and to serve food and alcohol to its patrons. The existing card room facility consists of approximately 6,000 square feet of an existing 9,000 square foot building. The remaining 3,000 square feet of the building is occupied by the El Delfin Restaurant and is not a part of the proposed project. The proposed project also includes the placement of an approximately 3,600-square-foot modular building adjacent to the existing building to house a kitchen and office space. Additionally, the applicant proposes to lease from the City of Delano an adjacent 2.92-acre property to develop a paved and lighted parking lot. The requested entitlements include Conditional Use Permit No. 07-10, amendment to the City of Delano Municipal Code related to the number of card tablets allowed at a single location and Ownership Interest in a card room; and a Lease Agreement.
