Document Description
DFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (SAA #1600-2009-0167-R5) to the project applicant, County of San Diego Department of Public Health. The applicant proposes to fund small projects involving vegetation removal, sediment removal, debris and trash removal, and wetland enhancement and related projects that reduce or remove mosquito breeding habitat in a manner that balances the water quality, biologic, aesthetic, and hydrologic values of wetlands with need to protect human populations and animals from mosquito-borne disease.
No more than ten Individual Projects will be covered by this Agreement in any one year, and the total lake/stream impacts for all Individual Projects covered in any year may not exceed 0.6 acre.
