Document Description
The Applicant intends to alter the streambed by conducting routine maintenance at their Hopper Creek facility. The access road at the facility crosses Hooper Creek at 13 existing Arizona crossing locations. These crossings need to be periodically maintained to remove boulders, sediment and debris that wash downstream in storm events. A bobcat/backhoe will be used to clear the crossing areas of these mentioned materials. Some minor amounts of vegetation may be removed in the process, but no large mature trees will be removed during these activities. Some on-site native material is used in re-establishing the grade and perimeter of the crossings. The crossings are maintained on average 1-2 times on a normal rain year.
