Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) owns the existing Table Mountain-Palermo 230kV Transmission Line, and has been performing the Table Mountain-Palermo 230 kV Reconductoring Project, with access to towers 3/16-3/18. Routine maintenance procedures mandate periodic line and tower facility maintenance and upgrades. These maintenance activities involve replacement of aging conductor (wire) on an existing transmission line in an existing transmission corridor.
