Document Description
Remove, invasive, non-native plants (primarily fennel, mustard, ecuclyptus, thistle species, and harding grass) from Benicia State Recreation Area and Southhampton Marsh. Work will remove invasive plant species in upland areas on foot using mechanical and herbicide application measures herbicide will be applied using backpack sprayers. Native species protection measures will be implemented using recommendations from the "Invasive Spartina Project Biological Opinion" and "Walking in the Marsh" documents. Project protects park resources.
