Document Description
This project consists of the drilling of 10 borings along the Horse Trail (aka Beah Trail) located in Border Field State Park. Borings will be approx 8" in diameter and 10' deep. The purpose of the borings is to test the underlying material of the trail so effective design improvements could be implemented on the road. These improvements would allow use of road by heavy equipment transporting sediment to the beach. Per standard policy, a biologist or cultural resource specialist will ensure avoidance of significant natural or cultural resources during project implementation.
