Document Description
There is an existing rock/earth weir at the Madera Lake Inlet that facilitates the diversion of flows from Fresno River into the Madera Lake. Project-related activities will construct a V-shaped notch into the weir at the end of the water season to allow for higher flood flow releases from Hidden Dam to pass through. The notch will be refilled with rock fill material prior to the start of the next water season. Approx. 40-50 cubic yards will be removed fromthe weir to form the V-notch.
