Document Description
The closure plan modification request includes eliminating deeper soil samples (3 feet and 6 feet below ground surface), wipe samples from all HWMUs containment areas and chip samples from Vessel 1413 containment area. Instead, Chevron will take soil samples six inches below the containment pads or foundations to determine that hazardous wastes have not been released from the past management practice.
