Document Description
The project is limited to the construction of the Manabe-Ow Slough Crossing Bridge, a permanent bridge, and a second temporary flat car bridge to be removed when construction activities have ceased. The permanent bridge will be constructed of concrete and will 46 ft in width and 100 ft in length. Both bridges will be constructed above the Ordinary High Water Mark. The temporary bridge will be approximately 84 ft in length, and 20 ft in width and require a 12 by 4 by 18 ft excavation in the upper slough banks which will be filled with crushed concrete. Both bridges will span a portion of the restored Watsonville Slough channel in the recently completed Watsonville Slough Manabe Wetlands Restoration Project area. CDFW is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0114-R3 pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Benjamin Ow, Ow Family Trust.
