Document Description
Note: Review per lead
Catheys Valley, one of Mariposa County's seventeen Planning Areas, is located in western Mariposa County along Hwy 140, a gateway into Mariposa County and Yosemite National Park. The General Plan states that "area plans may be adopted for purposes of maintaining rural character, identifying and preserve public lands, protecting agriculture lands, or addressing localized issues in greater detail than is possible in the countywide General Plan". The CV Plan comprises an integrated, consistent, and compatible statement of policies, and implementation measures refine the General Plan to strengthen and enhance the rural and ranching lifestyle of Catheys Valley.
